Mafi and Mia's Steamed Kumala and Yam with Pele

INGREDIENTS
1kg Kumala
1kg Yam
12 leaves Pele
METHOD
- Peel the kumala and the yam and cut into thin slices.
- Layer the Yam and kumala on a large square of tin foil leaving room to roll up.
- Place a thick layer of raw pele leaves on the top, season with salt and pepper.
- Make a watertight parcel with the foil and place in the oven to cook or steam in a pot of boiling water for 30mins.
- Once the vegetables are cooked this is ready to serve.
